Review: CouponMom.com
CouponMom.com was created by Stephanie Nelson, author of Greatest Secrets of the Coupon Mom. The website is a wonderful companion to the book but can also be of great use even if you haven’t read the book. The website does include links to free samples and grocery coupons but there a few tools that make this site really great.
After you register you can start making use of the Virtual Coupon Organizer and the Grocery Deals by State. The Virtual Coupon Organizer is an “interactive database listing all of the grocery coupons that have come out in the newspaper.” This includes the SmartSource and Valassis circulars. With this quick system you simply save the entire circular for the week after writing the date on the front. Yep, no clipping coupons! Instead of thumbing through your coupons every week you use the virtual coupon organizer to sort by coupon issue date, alphabetically, by expiration date, or by custom search.
The Grocery Deals by State tools allows you to browse the grocery sales where the coupons from the circulars are already matched with the sales for that week! Unfortunately for me, my local grocers aren’t listed but I know many people who swear by this tool.
