Coupon Swaps

There are tons of ways to get the coupons that you want for the products you buy and a great way to get your hands on them is through coupon swaps. Coupon swaps are very simple and easy to participate in.

A person posts coupons that they want (often called a wishlist) and also coupons that they have that they want to trade. If you have a coupon that they want, and they have one that you want, then you simply swap coupons through the mail.

Make sure that you clip all your coupons out of the paper as well so you will have plenty of coupons to trade. You can also obtain coupons from coupon trains or coupon clipping services, Remember, the more coupons that you have for the items you regularly buy or special sales items will save you even more money at the grocery store.

Here are a few forums that I recommend for swapping coupons.

Each forum has it’s own rules so be sure to follow them. Here are some general guidelines to follow for all coupon swaps:

  • Make sure when you post coupons that you post the correct product, amount, and expiration date for the coupon.
  • Complete the trade as soon as possible since most coupons have expiration dates.
  • Include the correct amount of postage so to ensure that they get to the receipt in time.
  • Never post your personal information such as an address in the forum, communicate this information by way of private messages with your swap partner.
